Bournemouth have 3 points from their last 7 games, a lot of injuries, are in the bottom three and are desperate for a result. We should go there and absolutely bury them really.
But I think we all know the script when it comes to West Ham in these type of games.

Bournemouth have lost their last two league games 4-0 and Jermaine Defoe broke his ankle in the week
Which makes me worried rather than confident
Starting a striker on the pitch would be a step in the right direction

Was unable to see the Newcastle game even via a stream ( flying back from Oz) and am using the reports and threads on here to form the view that Moyes got his team selection wrong and that some players slipped back into the errors and such that featured about 5 games back?
In a way I was not surprised by the loss but the 3 conceded set alarm bells ringing again for me. That is relegation defending as it was with Bilic.
Having not seen thegame I do not know if the effort or running that has developed recently went missing too?
It seems to me with our squad we cannot take the game on the front foot to any team in the division. We only prosper from a counter attacking approach and having the likes of Lanzini available for creativity and movement, Antonio fit ( seems a long time since he has been 100%) and Noble out there for leadership for part of the game?
Today I will again look to see if the commitment, running, effort and organisation are there. We get those things and can absorb the pressure without errors ( something I thought Moyes had got us doing again) we have a chance.
Bottom line though is that we desperately need quality midfield reinforcements from the transfer window.

Our record defeat was on Boxing Day, and to a team we beat two days later.
The club Christmas Pudding was a bit heavy that year (1963).
